| MTN Satellite Communicationssigned an agreement withFred Olsen Cruise Lines, an international shipping company based in Norway, to outfit its entire fleet with broadbandVSATequipment, MTN announced April 9. MTN will provide services such as OceanPhone calling, StreamXcel bandwidth optimization, toll-free inbound line dialing service and credit card processing. MTN said installations on the first ship have been completed with scheduled rollouts for the rest of the fleet over the next few months. We currently have more than 90 percent of the worlds major cruise ships under contract for ourVSATservices, said Brent Horwitz, senior vice president of MTNs cruise and ferry business, in a statement. Financial details of the contract were not disclosed. |
