On Nov.29, 2012, Telesat, as the Canadian satellite operator stated that they specially supported the Aerospace Review Report. This report elaborated many crucial issues regarding Canada's space industry.

This report stated clearly that the North development and security should be highly governmental priorities in Canadian Space Program. As per this report, the Canadian government should first consider the purchasing decisions to strengthen domestic industries and even the national economy during acquiring the best products at the reasonable price and following international trade rules.

Dan Goldberg, President and CEO of Telesat stated that Canada made fewer investments than some other countries. It must be highly targeted and strategic for Canada Government when purchasing space related services and goods regarding strengthening the competitiveness of Canadian space department while achieving a good value suggestion for the Canadian taxpayer.
