On Aug. 31, the operator of Satellite Mexicanos (Satmex) announced that Erik Hansen was hired by them as their director of North American sales.

 

With more than 12 years of experience in the North American telecommunications market, Hansen has a main emphasis in satellite communications. He worked in PanAmSat, Norcomp of the U.S. Army and Intelsat as engineer and sales person in the past. Recently, he worked in Tachyon Networks as vice president of sales.

 

Javier Recio, the Vice President of Sales and Marketing of Satmex stated that they paid much more attention to North American market and believed that Erik’s join will bring the strong sales force to the company and their ability to meet the customers now and future will also be highly strengthened.
