On July 6, Com Dev announced that they signed a contract with SS/L (Space System/Local) regarding delivering Ka-band microwave components and assemblies to the satellite manufacturer. The amount of this contract is worth more than $10 million. And the company said this amount includes another deal contracted on May 2012 with SS/L about the same program. On Nov. 2013, Com Dev will put the program into practice in Cambridge, Ontario.

Mike Williams, the president of international Products in Com Dev stated that that was a significant win with highly competitive market, which further strengthen the relationship between us and major customers in an important new growth stage.
